story is king
but our queen is audio

We’re not that excited by 8K, 12K or intimidating people with giant cinema camera rigs. And neither are audiences. It’s been backed by research that the quality of the footage is actually less important than the quality of sound.

In film, we say you can get away with average or even bad footage - if you have great sound. But if you have great footage and bad sound, people will storm out of the cinema. There’s a strange result where it will actually “look” terrible.

This is why we put such an emphasis on capturing and producing great sound and we build it into our entire workflow.

podcasts

We’ve been doing podcasts since the days of their namesake, the iPod!
Prior to that our team have worked in Radio Broadcast, so the standards shine through.
Yes, people are now used to the sound of zoom.
But does that mean you can necessarily* get away with zoom audio. No.
* We have recipes for this.
